Privacy Policy

RuckMode is built for loaded walking and ruck training. This policy explains what information RuckMode may collect, how that information is used, and the choices you have.

Information RuckMode May Use

Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, RuckMode may process:

• Ruck session details, including distance, time, pace, pack weight, elevation, route summary, notes, and gear presets.
• Apple Health data you authorize, such as workouts, heart rate, active energy estimates, and body mass if you choose to allow it.
• Location data during an active ruck to calculate route, distance, pace, and elevation.
• Purchase and subscription status from Apple's App Store systems.
• Support information you voluntarily send, such as your email address, device details, screenshots, or crash descriptions.

HealthKit And Apple Health

RuckMode may read and write Apple Health data only after you grant permission. Health data is used to record ruck workouts and show load-aware training context inside the app.

RuckMode does not use HealthKit data for advertising, does not sell HealthKit data, and does not share HealthKit data with data brokers. You can change Health permissions at any time in the Health app or iOS Settings.

Location

RuckMode uses location only when needed for active tracking or route summaries. If you deny location permission, route, distance, elevation, and pace features may be limited.

Local Storage

Ruck sessions, presets, and settings are stored on your device and may sync between your iPhone and Apple Watch through Apple platform features. If cloud sync is added later, this policy and App Store privacy disclosures will be updated.

Subscriptions

RuckMode Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple. RuckMode receives subscription status information from StoreKit so the app can unlock paid features. Billing, cancellation, refunds, and payment details are handled by Apple.

Support

If you contact support, we may use the information you provide to answer your request, diagnose bugs, and improve the product. Do not send sensitive medical details through support email.

Diagnostics And Analytics

RuckMode does not include advertising trackers. If crash reporting or analytics are added, this policy and App Store privacy disclosures will be updated.

Children

RuckMode is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact support so it can be reviewed and deleted where applicable.

Your Choices

• Change Health permissions in the Health app or iOS Settings.
• Change location permissions in iOS Settings.
• Cancel or manage subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
• Delete local app data by deleting app content inside RuckMode if available, or by deleting the app from your device.

Changes

This policy may be updated as RuckMode changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
